The Poisoned Salmon
Del Frisco's was added to my list of must try's after hearing a few trusted sources RAVE about their experiences. Then to find out that it was on the list of restaurants participating in restaurant week I thought, "Oh hell yes, I'm definitely saving the best for last".
Which is why it is with great regret that I must add this beautiful establishment to my shit list!
A Sunday in City Center, The location I must say is amazing, in the heart of the city surrounded by only the best boutiques and competitors this city has to offer. The ambiance? Breathtaking, I could have just lived there. The service? Impeccable... or so I thought. The Host's were very pleasant, Once seated the waiter was very timely and noticeably irate. Once the orders were placed the starters came out and were cooked to perfection. My soup had a bit of a kick to it so it definitely bugged me to be offered water halfway through the meal. Once the starters were inhaled we were more than ready for our entree, which took almost an hour to get to the table, no bread was offered and the drink that I previously ordered was nowhere in sight, after locating someone to get bread from this came out.....
If you stare at it really hard it turns into a salmon spider with green beaned limbs. LOL!
Apart from the presentation, this salmon was way too under cooked for my liking, leaving the underneath very gooey, the way that I HATE MY SALMON. That alone made me never want to eat a piece of salmon again, the consistency just wasn't right and neither were the green beans. This meal felt very rushed leaving me extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment. Thank god they have good cheesecake!!
*Sidenote* I did get a case of food poisoning from this meal, so be careful. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.
