"I think in black" -Gareth Pugh
This cozy little number gave me all of the drama I needed in a romper! It gave me wings to fly, and hugged me in all of the right places, paired with cat eye shades and a velvet choker to add some sexture.

This cute little number had me stretching all types of ways, just how I like it. I was able to eat everything that I wanted and when my stomach decided to grow a couple of inches, my cape covered it. Its all about the wings ladies! This look cost me under 100 bucks, the cape and shades were purchased at shein.com
A Sunday in City Center
Summers get humid here in DC, which is why I was a little iffy about pulling out my white leather vest, but because I happened to be dining in a very conservative area this day I had to cover up. I paired my Zara leather vest with a high low black and white skirt from H&M, a black zip up bralette from Missguided, and all of my accessories can be found at H&M. My black peep-toe platforms we're also from H&M and super comfy, To complete the look I added a gold chained belt. This outfit was once again very comfortable and very affordable.

The Autumn Breeze's have taken over, and like a bird I'm thinking of heading West because it's a little tooo cold for my liking lol. I'm never prepared when the temperature drops, and as usual I had no legs (pants) so I was forced to turn to my favorite pair of jeans. Yes JEANS! If you don't know, it's very rare that anyone will ever see me in jeans, its like a holiday, this day only comes around once a year! With no time to plan an outfit I slid on my contrasting metallic sweatshirt and stepped into my yellow satin court shoes. This sweatshirt has long sleeves, so to add a bit of u-m-p-h I simply pushed up the sleeves and tucked a bottom corner into my jeans. I completed the look with dainty Chanel studs, and a metallic handbag.
Want the look? Great! The sweatshirt and shoes are still available at Zara.com

Black Tie
After being invited to an black tie event, I was excited and scared as hell at the same time... What is "Black-Tie" I thought, I don't have anyyyy black-tie-worthy clothing in my closet full of clothing, so I immediately sat down as I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going. As I looked around my closet my eyes kept falling to my Platinum-Colored pillow case folded neatly tucked into a corner.. One of Four I said. Suddenly I had this crazy ass idea to turn the pillow case into a dress. I neatly cut out a neck line and arms for my dress and took another piece of fabric from the same set (of pillow cases) and made it into a choker. Paired with Glitter heeled Perspex boots and a Hooded Sable Mink. Now THIS is how I do Black-Tie.

Royal Hues
You won’t believe that this entire look only cost under $100! How you may wonder ? Salessss! I caught the royal blue velvet dress and diamante sling back pumps on sale at .Fashionnova.com , the diamante clutch and earrings are from Shein.com and the royal blue detachable fur collar from Amazon.com. The perfect look to ring in the New Year, who ever said that style was determined by how much a piece cost you was definitely wrong. Here at F+M+F we believe that “Fashion is what you buy, but style is what you do with it.”
Color Block
Running on next to NO TIME to find an outfit for Fashion Week in NY, I breezed through Zara to see what I could pick up. The question was, What didn't I? With a store full of EVERYTHING to pick from, I was finally able to get my options down to 3. I'm going to be completely honest with ya'll, I snatched them all lol but only one made the list of things to take for my night at this beautiful establishment.. you're looking at her. A cozy embroidered shirt bought one size up so that I could wear it as a dress, comfortable satin emroidered pumps and red suede ball drop earrings. Perfect for my night out on the town.

"The Cool Down"
The weather in DC is getting real. Just when I thought we may have been skipping the cold front this year....whoop there it is! Although I can't express enough of how I would rather head West for winter, I do love being able to pull out a fur, adding a drop of drama to any ensemble. This faux multi-colored fur was a gift, I paired this piece with a body-con jumpsuit from H&M, a chained waist belt, a red boxed purse from Zara and ankle boots from Aldo. Very comfortable, but still dramatic.

The sit in
I decided to do a pop up at this new Korean BBQ restaurant to see what all of the fuss was about. After I was informed that they provide a buffet option, I made sure to come equipped. This body suit was the perfect choice, super stretchy and overly comfortable. I felt like I was still in pajamas. I decided to pair it with a gold plated belt, a green gold and black bra-let, black fringe earrings, yellow frames and floral black, pink and metallic sandals. And you better know I snatched that belt right off in the middle of the chow down. SHIT GOT REAL YA'LL.

" I like what I like"
If I feel like wearing a tool skirt to work then guess what, I will wear it! Who cares?! I bring drama into my everyday life, I am never focused on the trend, i'm always looking for eye catching pieces that help me further express who I am without me having to say anything. Sometimes whats trending just doesn't do it for me personally so to the costume department I go!

The Open Kitchen
One of the best features of the space at Requin is the kitchen. It gives it that “ Honey i’m home” type of feel. I had to stop for a quick sip and flick. I wanted to class it up a bit for my 26th so I wore a slit dress by forever 21 , yellow embellished pointed-toe pumps, gold accesories by chanel and lastly my favorite pearled frames by overdose eyewear.

NY Nights
I’m always down to take a trip to NY, so when my friend told me that she was interested in visiting for the first time I thought, “What a perfect idea, my new frames would make their debut in NYC on labor day weekend.” I’ve been obsessing over what look i’d pair them with, when surprisingly the look completed itself. The look that I arrived in wasn’t comfortable enough for me, idk ,too much adjusting will have me ready to throw a whole piece away. So last minute I picked up a shirt, a few accessories and called it a day. This breathtaking blouse is by WFFS and yes, it dragged the floooor!

Texture + Shine
The sun has finally peeked out enough for me to visit Kith\kin, a beautiful Afro-Caribbean restaurant located inside of the Intercontinental Hotel at the DC Wharf. If you’ve been following along, you know that there is nothing that I love more than getting dressed up and exploring new and exciting cuisine!
This day I decided to wear a metallic skirt from www.prettylittlething.com paired with a silver boxed bag from Zara, leather half gloves, leather boots from www.fashionova.com and peacock fur. I love to pair texture and high shine into my wardrobe playing more into my dramatic side yet still affordable, because your girl still has bills just like everybody else.
Leather gloves and Fur were both purchased at www.ebay.com

The pop up
For the pop-up taking place at “Prathers On The Alley” I decided to go for a more bossed up satin vibe, which probably was the worst choice given the temperature on this particular day. If you live in DC you know how humid our summers can get, so take it from me, no silk or satin in DC during summer months.
Prints and neon’s are still in, so i thought i’d bring in a few of both with my strappy multicolored snake print stilettos from www.simmishoes.com and a pink satin dress from www.houseofcb.com the shoulder detail on this dress was made for me, im convinced.
